How Did This Crypto Adventure Get Started?

It all started when Opa (that’s me) actually read his bank statement last December. I had about $2,400 in a savings account, and by the end of the YEAR, it had earned just 21 cents in interest.

Twenty-one! Cents!

If any place besides a bank did that, it would be a felony! That’s when I knew something wasn’t adding up — at least not in my favor. Someone was getting rich on my money, and it wasn’t me.

Dex Saves The Day

Enter Dex, my older son. Dex had two words to say that would change my financial life: “Give crypto a try.”

Okay, I know. That’s actually four words, but give me a break. I’m still recovering from the “no interest bargain” investment that my bank gave me last year. But fortunately, I listened to Dex. He was right!

Making Money Work Again

What I really wanted to tell you is that, these days, I’m having a blast shutting down financial programs in my portfolio that work great for the bank (but don’t do so well for me) and replacing them with crypto projects that, surprisingly, actually make money—for me and for my family.

No, I’m not rich (yet). But I’ve only been at this for a couple of months. However, I’m already doing better than I was when I put my trust in those so-called pros dressed in their neckties. And since I’m a storyteller at heart, I’m inviting you to follow along — witnessing my wins, laughing at my flops (you learn as much from your mistakes as you do from your successes), and all the in between stuff too as I learn how to invest in Bitcoin and crypto currencies.
